Hello! I’m Yash Patel, a passionate researcher in the field of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics. My academic and professional journey is underpinned by a deep commitment to safeguarding digital domain and unraveling the intricacies of cybercrimes. With a Ph.D. in Cyber Security & Digital Forensics from the National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar, India, I have dedicated my career to pioneering innovative solutions that defend digital assets and investigate cybercrimes using state-of-the-art technologies.

My work is characterized by a profound engagement with advanced and emerging technologies, aiming to further the boundaries of what is possible in cyber security and digital forensics. I have been privileged to contribute to this dynamic field through my publications in esteemed journals and presentations at international conferences, highlighting my research on robotic security, anomaly detection, and the forensic investigation of cyber incidents.

My Journey

My academic path began with a B.E. in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, evolving into specialized postgraduate studies with an M.Tech and Ph.D. in Cyber Security & Digital Forensics from the National Forensic Sciences University. My doctoral dissertation, "Critical Analysis of Security and Investigation of Robots," supervised by Dr. Parag Rughani, encapsulates my focus on leveraging robotics for enhancing cyber security measures and forensic investigations.

Throughout my career, I've contributed to numerous projects, including the development of an Autonomous Rover Robot for comprehensive crime scene investigation and a Real-Time Anomaly Detection and Forensic Investigation System for Robots (ART-ADFIS-R), underscoring my innovative approach to solving complex cyber security and digital forensics challenges.

Recognitions and Contributions

My dedication to advancing cyber security has been recognized through multiple awards and honors, including a felicitation by Dr. J.M. Vyas, Padma Shri Awardee, Vice Chancellor, National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) Of India & Director General Of Directorate Of Forensic Science (DFS) for my patent on ornithopter-based technology for securing aerial space. I have also received grants from the Research Proof of Concept under SSIP 2.0 and the Data Security Council of India for my contributions to cybersecurity and digital forensics technology development.
